May Book | The Book of Delights by Ross Gay

May’s gathering continues The Creative’s Book Club with The Book of Delights, a collection of short, thoughtful essays centered around noticing the small, joyful moments that make up our everyday lives.

This month is an invitation to slow down just enough to actually see what’s already here. As the days get longer and life fills up, this book brings a softer rhythm. It encourages you to pay attention, to collect moments, and to find beauty in the ordinary rather than waiting for something big to happen.

Participants will purchase and read the book on their own throughout the month. Because it’s written in short essays, you can read a few pages at a time and move through it in a way that fits your schedule. Come with any passages, reflections, or moments you noticed differently because of what you read.

We’ll meet Tuesday, May 12, from 6–8 PM, at THE BEAUTY FACTORY for a relaxed evening of tea, conversation, and thoughtful connection.

You’re welcome to attend just this month or join us for the full year. Each gathering stands on its own and offers space to reflect, connect, and grow at your own pace.
